having serious health problems at age 21, we hope we can get help for him. now he is doing better on the Meds, but has a long way to go yet, he is working with Joey in their lawn and gardening business on the side.
I went back to school to become a nurse, and also I have a brown belt in martial arts, but my health was not doing very well, I have a Pseudo tumor cerebri, ( brain pressure tumor, now known as Intracrainal Hypertention) this is very rare, but it's not a mass and thank heavens it's not cancer, but I could go blind, and only women get it most of the time. I am using my meds., vitamins, and herbs, also doing what my doctor tells me. He did tell me that my pressure in my head is back up to 400mm, normal pressure is around 150mm, that was back in Aug. 2006. They're watching my field vision too. They put a shunt in my spine on Dec 4th,2006, at UCSF Medical Center,It control's the flow of the spinal fluid. The surgery went very well. No more headaches, sometimes. The doctors are going to check and see if the shunt is plugged or bent, if so, they will have to put a new one in, I feel very blessed to be alive! I have good days and not so good days, but stay very tried, so I keep going as much as I can, being a grandma ,and doing my hobbies, also going to the doctors for my checkups, things never end, so keep me in your prayers. Take Care, DeeAnn
